Sabaton Involved in ‘Serious Traffic Incident’: ‘We Are All Badly Beaten, But Happy to Be Alive’
After returning from a recent film shoot in the Sahara desert, Sabaton was engaged in an automobile accident.
Thankfully, no lives were lost in the disaster.
Within a statement, the band wrote:
“We were involved in a serious traffic collision in Tunisia two days ago while returning from a video shoot in the
Sahara desert.
“Even though we are all injured, severely battered, bleeding, and sutured, we are glad to be alive and have faith that
we will eventually heal completely.
“Nevertheless, we are certain that we cannot perform the planned concert in Poland today without running the
danger of more injuries after speaking with medical professionals and assessing all of our injuries.
“We’ll be back in full force for the North American tour in October, and we’ll get back to Gdansk as soon as we can.”
“We’d like to share a few of our personal photos from the disaster and the Sahara filming until then. Thank you for
your comprehension, /The Band.
