Kansas City Chiefs reportedly have found trade partner for cornerback L’Jarius Sneed
It is been claimed that the Chiefs have a deal in place less than three weeks after permitting cornerback
L’Jarius Sneed to pursue a trade.
Sneed was reportedly dealt to the Tennessee Titans, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. The Chiefs
would receive a third-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft in exchange, while this year’s seventh-round
picks would be traded between the clubs.
Sneed was given the non-exclusive franchise tag by the Chiefs on March 4, allowing him to pursue a
trade. The Titans and Colts were mentioned as possible trade partners for Sneed during the course of the
previous week’s rumors.
The Titans have to complete a new contract with Sneed in addition to negotiating the specifics of a trade
with the Chiefs. It appears to have been completed, although the specifics of the
contract are not yet established.
Sneed helped the Chiefs win two Super Bowl titles after being taken in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL
Draft.
