Breaking: Cleveland Browns super player disclosed his thoughts on Deshaun Watson.

Backup quarterback Jameis Winston believes that Deshaun Watson can make a strong comeback and guide the Cleveland Browns to the top

Beyond merely serving as Deshaun Watson’s backup as quarterback, Jameis Winston has a more

significant job with the Browns.

He is the second-best quarterback, but he also fervently believes in the top team.

Top NFL draft pick Winston, who signed with the Browns as a free agent in March, stated on Thursday

that he thinks Watson will live up to the lofty standards set for him when he first arrived in Cleveland

two years ago.

Winston believes Watson will be successful.

“He is a quarterback who wants to be and will be a Super Bowl winner,” Winston declared, delivering his

remarks on Watson with the fervor of a preacher.

And, to be really honest, that is the reason he came here. “Because I am feeding that, I assure you.”

into him.”

Winston’s encouraging words are not shocking. After playing for Tampa Bay for five seasons and New

Orleans for four, the 30-year-old has a reputation for being a team player. He sees his position with the

Browns as a chance to coach Watson.

The Browns will start Winston in Saturday’s exhibition game against Green Bay because they are being

cautious with Watson. Watson is currently focusing on increasing his strength and endurance after

having shoulder surgery in November.

Throughout the spring and summer, Watson has been the subject of intense media and fan scrutiny,

with every throw being scrutinized.

Despite some reservations, Winston is certain that Watson will be prepared for the season because he

has observed enough encouraging development from Watson in recent months.

Before practice on Thursday, Winston declared, “When you can go outside, you can see practice, you can

knick-knack, this-that, paddy whack, give a dog a bone — Deshaun Watson is going to turn it on.” “When

the lights go on, he will always find a way to shine.”

At that point, Watson stopped. He said, “Man, I just rhymed.”

Getting the most out of Watson, who has only appeared in 12 games over the course of two seasons after

agreeing to a fully guaranteed $230 million contract, will be the Browns’ biggest task. In 2023, he

suffered an 11-game suspension before breaking his shoulder.  socket in November.

Winston first had faith in Watson on a night in 2017 when he saw Watson lead Clemson to a national

title win over Alabama. Watson’s performance left Winston feeling that he was destined for greatness.

And I swear, I saw him get hit on a few plays in that game. Hard, Winston remarked. “I watched him get

really beat up, but he did not give up.” .. Deshaun was made to withstand hardship and be resilient.

For the Browns, Winston is more than simply an experienced mentor; in the event of an injury, he serves

as a safety precaution. Cleveland recognizes the value of depth at quarterback because they had to start

five different quarterbacks the previous season due to injury.

Since joining the Buccaneers in 2015, Winston has started 80 games, and he thinks the backup position

is crucial.

“Especially in the last few years, when many of the top players have dropped out at any point,” he

remarked. The position of backup quarterback is crucial.

Hence, the backup quarterback is really benefiting from being in sync with his team, having excellent

chemistry with the calls and cadences, and having all that goes along with being that strong quarterback.

There is only one post available where there is only one man. I am more than prepared for that duty, and

you have to be ready at all times.

Coach Kevin Stefanski of the Browns acknowledged Winston’s impact while making light of his

gregarious nature. “He sounds before you see him.” Stefanski grinned and said.

Apart from the jokes, Stefanski appreciates having a backup plan that he can rely on.

“You do not receive many repetitions. You have to be prepared to go at any time, according to Stefanski.

However, you can make a significant difference for the football squad both on and off the field. I have so

seen some excellent ones. The fact that many coaches have come from the backup quarterback position

is not an error, in my opinion.

It resembles backup point guards and catchers in certain ways. I believe that many guys who are aware

of all the subtleties of this game apply for this role since it is cerebral.
