Browns OTA News: QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson returns to the practice field

Browns rookie QB Thompson-Robinson has brutal NFL debut

Dorian Thompson-Robinson’s latest MRI revealed positive results early this week, and today he formally returned to practice in a limited capacity for the Cleveland Browns.

On Christmas Eve of last year, during Cleveland’s 36-22 victory over the Houston Texans, “DTR” suffered a hip injury while performing “mop up” duty. Not long after, he was placed on inactive reserve, and he has been quietly recovering ever since. Despite the fact that everything about his recuperation has gone well thus far, it was wonderful to see him back in action this morning during OTAs. Throughout the drills, he seemed to be moving very well and didn’t seem to be in any pain or limping.

Several reports state that, depending on how his recuperation goes, he may also be well enough to take part in the team’s required minicamp the following week.

Source: Dorian Thompson-Robinson, the quarterback for the Browns, underwent an MRI earlier this week, and the results were positive with no complications. Thompson-Robinson will throw a little bit today, and if he does well enough, there’s a chance he could be able to take part in the required minicamp the following week.
It’s no secret that Thompson-Robinson’s skill set has the coaching staff of the Browns excited, and they see him as a serious contender to be their third quarterback when the season starts in 2024 and beyond.
