Leading up to the current Organised Team Activities (OTAs) at Allen Park, wide receiver Jameson Williams has been singled out by Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell as the team’s most improved player.
During his Thursday media appearance, Campbell complimented Williams on his all-around growth in every facet of his game.
All-encompassing Enhancement
Campbell claims that Williams, the Lions’ first-round selection in the 2022 NFL Draft, has advanced remarkably in every area. When asked where Williams has improved specifically, Campbell said, “Everywhere.” His words highlight the wide receiver’s commitment to improving his game in the summer.
Williams is a “Man on a mission, and I’m just going to leave it at that,” according to Campbell, who hinted to a significant return for the next campaign.
High Standards
Expectations are high for Williams, who is expected to take over as the Lions’ No. 2 wide receiver in 2024. The organisation is counting on him to rebound from two difficult seasons at the beginning of his NFL career with a standout campaign.
