Three years later, the Lions have signed him to a hefty extension, which will soon pay off for his perseverance and effort.

The news that the Lions and the standout wide out had agreed a massive agreement was first reported by NFL Insider Ian Rapoport. With a $77 million guarantee, the four-year contract was inked for $120 million.

Just one day before the Detroit draft, he now has the highest salary of any wide receiver in the NFL thanks to the contract.

After being selected with the seventh choice in the fourth round of the 2021 draft, St. Brown became well-known in the Motor City.

He had the finest season of the previous year in 2023–24, the year of the Lions’ much-needed comeback to the top of the league. In terms of catches (119), yards (1,515), and touchdowns (10), he set personal records.

St. Brown was a Lion who consistently improved for Dan Campbell and general manager Brad Holmes on the pitch.

He tied for fourth place in the league in terms of touchdowns behind Tyreek Hill, CeeDee Lamb, and Mike Evans during the playoff run of the previous year. He also ended third in the league in terms of receiving yards.
