Inside: The Detroit Lions have disclosed the 2024 NFL offseason most perilous signings along with their anticipating impact….

Who is Detroit Lions’ most dangerous addition of 2024 NFL offseason?

With the acquisition of Carlton Davis and the draft selections of Terrion Arnold and Ennis Rakestraw Jr., the Detroit Lions have made a number of fascinating defensive-minded acquisitions.

In a recent piece, Ryan Fowler of Bleacher Report named Rakestraw the most dangerous new addition for each team, shocking many by selecting him over the other two.

Rakestraw may struggle to land a starting position in the NFL, despite having all the makings of a significant player. After all, Arnold is expected to start opposite Davis, while Brian Branch will occupy the slot. Rakestraw would need to defeat Amik Robertson even if Branch isn’t prepared for the season to begin.

Here, I would have agreed with Arnold. The Alabama product will make an immediate impact and has the potential to become a real lockdown corner. Arnold should, at the very least, provide Davis a strong No. 2 in Year 1, which is crucial for a squad that had trouble stopping the pass in the previous campaign.
