Its gonna be a very huge disaster if dodgers don’t become the world series champions after all these robust efforts:

National Reporter Says It Would Be ‘Disaster’ if Dodgers Don’t Make World Series

Dodgers' Andrew Friedman confirms manager Dave Roberts will return in 2024 - Yahoo Sports

This has been the story of the Los Angeles Dodgers ever since their expensive offseason acquisition of high-priced players like Tyler Glasnow, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, and Shohei Ohtani.

Bob Nightengale, a national MLB reporter, attested to the Dodgers’ reality and said it would be disastrous if they lost the World Series.

Nightengale told Doug McKain of Dodgers Nation, “I think there’s a lot of urgency in the sense that, for the Dodgers, probably more than any team in baseball, it’s World Series or bust.” With all that skill, I believe the entire season in Los Angeles would be viewed as a failure if they fail to win the World Series. You continue to discuss how the team hasn’t won a World Series since 1988 for the entire season.

“Just considering the amount of money invested, the focus, and Ohtani’s actions… It’s going to be a long, long winter if they don’t make it to the World Series, Nightengale stated. You couldn’t say that about any other club, not even the Yankees, in my opinion. However, I believe the Dodgers must advance to the World Series or they will have to ask themselves, “What went wrong here?” Should we alter our current course of action, and what will we do by 2025?

Of course, the Dodgers are talented enough to win the World Series, but in order to do so, they will need to get past their current postseason struggles. For the past ten seasons, the Dodgers have advanced to the postseason. but can only display one World Series trophy as proof. They have attended three World Series in total, two of which they have lost.

More significantly, the Dodgers have lost the National League Division Series in each of the previous two seasons, which is a terrible way to exit the playoffs. Their 100-win regular season was wasted as they were upset by division rivals, the San Diego Padres and Arizona Diamondbacks, whom they were picked to win. With talents like Ohtani and Teoscar Hernández on the team currently, it will be quite disappointing if the Dodgers are ousted from the playoffs once more, especially so early in the process.
