The flood of Sheffield-trained players returning to the Steel City continued on Friday with the announcement that Doncaster-born Ben Norton would be strapping on the pads for Sheffield Steeldogs.
The 20-year-old, a pillar of the Great Britain youth program for the previous four years, participated in almost 40 games for the Bristol Pitbulls last season. However, as part of a two-way contract with the Steeldogs, he will next train with the Sheffield Steelers, the Elite League champions.
