Breaking: The Clippers are a possible landing spot for the Bulls DeMar DeRozan…

The Chicago Bulls’ most influential player from the previous campaign was DeMar DeRozan. The veteran forward’s contract expires this offseason, so the Bulls front staff must make a big choice.

According to earlier reports, DeRozan would probably re-sign with Chicago provided the financial incentives and contract were present.

There’s now a second possibility. In the event that the Los Angeles Clippers are unable to re-sign Paul George in free agency, Michael Scotto of HoopsHype reports that they may pursue DeRozan.

A Riddle from the NBA Offseason

The Philadelphia 76ers, who are eager to make a huge splash this offseason and have the financial resources to do so, have been linked to Paul George. Zach LaVine, a guard with the Bulls, may thus be a trade target for Philadelphia.

If George were to leave the Clippers, DeMar DeRozan would be free to return home to Los Angeles, where he would be matched with two-way star Kawhi Leonard.

The Clippers would have a need met by signing DeRozan because of his durability and clutch-time abilities. Throughout the 2023–24 season, DeRozan participated in 79 games while George and Leonard struggled with injuries.

Once more, though, George is the crucial element in this possible situation. If George resigns, the Clippers will not be able to use the salary cap room for DeRozan.
