Would you be open to a spectacular trade proposal that would completely change the NFL by 2024? I was aware of it.
Bleacher Report recently released a ton, so you’re in luck. It looks like this year will be a big year for the league. However, at
least they will be trading of fireworks rather than sparklers. Only transactions that are visible from a pontoon boat qualify as
good trades.
But there’s a huge trade involving the Colts in that item. It’s one of those trading concepts that’s so entertaining you hardly
realize how ridiculous it is. You don’t care even if you do notice. You may even refer to it as a fireworks commerce concept.
Colts linked to insane trade with Commanders that would be a total steal
Commanders Receive: 2025 second-round pick, 2026 fourth-round pick
Colts Receive: DL Jonathan Allen
Adding a defender with the skill set of Jonathan Allen could be the addition that elevates the Colts in a loaded AFC. The
two-time Pro Bowler is a force within the interior that has evolved into one of the leagues premier three-down defensive
tackles … Despite a new regime in place with newly hired GM Adam Peters and HC Dan Quinn, Allen’s frustrations have
been well documented in Washington.
A fresh start could serve both parties well considering the capital used from Peters used to select Newton, albeit his
muddied projection to immediate snaps due to offseason foot surgery. For the long term, it makes sense
Absolutely. Two draft selections for Jonathan Allen? Is this the same Jonathan Allen who has appeared in several Pro Bowls
and racked up 22 sacks in the last three seasons? For a pair of draft selections? Absolutely.
To those who argue that Allen doesn’t belong on the Colts’ already highly stacked defensive line, I would simply advise them
to live a bit. You’re probably not Chris Ballard, and that’s a problem for Chris Ballard. Let Bleacher Report stoke your
irrational fantasy of Grover Stewart and DeForest Buckner next to Jonathan Allen. Being realistic isn’t your responsibility.
Horseshoe Heroes* wholeheartedly supports trading two draft picks for Jonathan Allen.
